Refugees and non- entitled migrant domestic workers
Central Health doctors and associated healthcare professionals continue to donate their time to help refugees and non- entitled migrant domestic workers, providing pro bono medical treatment to those most in need. Many of these domestic workers were made redundant during their pregnancies and as a consequence have no access to medical care. This work inevitably and tragically carries on from year to year; in 2022 we provided 300 consultations and 100 hours of pro bono counselling sessions as well as funding for prescriptions and tests.
